The opening show will take place at Nashville's outdoor Uptown Mix venue, which hosts weekly shows throughout the summer. Also on the bill are the Dirty Dozen Brass Band and the Subdudes.
As previously reported, the group will play Sept. 19 at the massive Austin City Limits Music Festival, where more than 130 acts will perform across eight stages through three days. Another Austin show will follow the next night at the city's Continental Club.
The Mavericks will release a self-titled album Sept. 23 in the U.S. via Sanctuary Records (a day earlier in Europe). The 11-track set will be the band's first in five years and sixth overall.
