Indianapolis-based rock collective Margot and the Nuclear So & Sos will release two distinct albums via Epic on the same day this fall.
"Animal!" and "Not Animal" both arrive Oct. 7 and feature 12 songs, but only five of the same will be found on both projects. "Animal!" will be a vinyl-only release, while "Not Animal" will be available digitally and on CD.
Beforehand, the band will on July 29 release an EP recorded at a recent session for online music site Daytrotter. That day, Daytrotter.com will launch two songs taped during the session but not on the EP track list.
Margo and the Nuclear So & Sos begin a summer tour July 26 at Louisville's Forecastle Festival and will also play Lollapalooza on Aug. 2 in Chicago.
