Fans who pre-order the upcoming Capitol album by Marcy Playground, "Shapeshifter," from participating Web retailers will be able to preview the entire set for six weeks prior to its street date.
Beginning Sept. 25, two tracks per week will be available in Microsoft's Windows Media format at e-commerce and radio-station Web sites, including Tower Records, Wherehouse, CDnow, Musicland, Trans World, National Record Mart, and Virgin Megastore. The tracks become ineffective the day of the album's release, Nov. 2.
