Marc Anthony, Wyclef Jean To Perform At 2010 Billboard Latin Music Awards

Superstars Marc Anthony, Wyclef Jean, Paulina Rubio and Chayanne are the newest addition to the roster of performers for the 2010 Billboard Latin Music Awards, presented by State Farm live from Puerto Rico.

The awards will air April 29 on the Telemundo Network and will by seen by over 200 million people in 47 countries. Also newly confirmed to perform are Espinoza Paz, La Original Banda el Limón, Milly Quezada, Nota and Christian group Tercer Cielo.

They join a a group of performers and presenters that includes Luis Fonsi, Juan Luis Guerra, Pitbull, Joan Sebastian, Nelly Furtado, Wisin y Yandel, Tito "El Bambino", Gilberto Santa Rosa, Daddy Yankee, David Bisbal, Marco Antonio Solís, Ivy Queen, Jencarlos, Arthur Hanlon and Cypress Hill.

The Billboard Latin Music Awards honor the most popular albums, songs and performers in Latin music, as determined by the actual sales and radio airplay data than informs Billboard's weekly charts during a one-year period from the issue dated February 7, 2009 through this year's January 30, 2010 issue.

In addition, Billboard's Spirit of Hope award will be given to Marc Anthony for his humanitarian work while Los Temerariso will receive the Lifetime Achievement award for their musical trajectory.

This marks the 21st annual Billboard Latin Music Awards and the first time the show will be held in Puerto Rico. Hosts for the evening will be Telemundo personalities Aylin Mujica and Alan Tacher.

The Billboard Latin Music Awards are the culmination of the Billboard Latin Music Conference, taking place April 26-29 at the Conrad San Juan Condado Plaza in Puerto Rico. For more information and registration, visit www.billboardlatinconference.com.
