The Museum of Fashion and Textiles in Santiago, Chile, emerged the winner of unexpectedly high bidding for Madonna's black and fuchsia Jean-Paul Gaultier bra. A Christie's spokesperson said the bra was expected to fetch only $4,500. The seller, who was not identified, won the bra in a British radio contest, the spokesperson said.
Clothing wasn't the only Madonna commodity fetching top dollar in the U.K. today, as tickets to her July 4 concert in London, priced from $58-$123, sold out quickly. Promoters rushed to add five more London dates -- July 6, 7, 9, 10, and 12 -- to the artist's Drowned world tour, which kicks off June 5 in Cologne, Germany.
