Jay-Z may be readying the release of his upcoming eleventh studio album, "The Blueprint 3," on September 11th, but the rapper and mogul still makes time to help old friends. Former Roc-A-Fella artist and Jay-Z protégé Memphis Bleek is slated to release his fifth studio album, "The Process E2" on November 24, and the set is executive produced by none other than his longtime mentor.

"'The Process' has been exactly that -- a process. Taking what I've learned from a teacher and creating my own school," says Bleek about the album, which will be released on Mass Appeal Entertainment and Bleek's own Get Low Records. "It's time for me to handle my own business as a man and Mass Appeal supports the vision. I'm excited to take the next steps in my career independently."

Producers lending their efforts for the project include Just Blaze and No. I.D. while Rick Ross, Pharrell, Jay-Z and others make guest appearances.

Memphis Bleek was one of the first artists signed to Roc-A-Fella Records and was featured on Jay-Z albums such as "Reasonable Doubt," "In My Lifetime Vol. 1," "Hard Knock Life" and "The Dynasty: Roc La Familia." His debut album, "Coming of Age," sold 436,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen Soundscan and peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 chart. His highest charting single to date is "Is That You Chick," featuring Missy Elliott and Jay-Z, which peaked at No. 7 on the Hot Rap Singles.
