With one week to go until the release of the final Summer Songs 2011 ranking, LMFAO's "Party Rock Anthem," featuring Lauren Bennett and GoonRock, remains the favorite to capture the title of Billboard's summer song of 2011.

The club thumper remains atop Billboard's 10-position Summer Songs 2011 running tally, which tracks the most popular songs based on cumulative performance on the weekly Billboard Hot 100 from Memorial Day through Labor Day (specifically, the charts dated June 11 through this week, so far).

"Anthem" has led the Summer Songs recap the past four weeks after Adele's "Rolling in the Deep" topped the survey the first seven frames of the season. LMFAO's ubiquitous dance track spent six weeks at No. 1 on the Hot 100 beginning the week of July 16. Following its Hot 100 reign, it has held the No. 2 position the last three weeks.

"Anthem" appears safe in its bid for the award for song of the summer, as the titles at Nos. 2 and 3 on the Summer Songs chart led the Hot 100 prior to "Anthem" and have since descended further: Pitbull's "Give Me Everything," featuring Ne-Yo, Afrojack and Nayer (currently No. 2 on Summer Songs) and Adele's "Deep" (No. 3).

Nicki Minaj's "Super Bass" remains at No. 4 on the Summer Songs list and Katy Perry's "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)" rounds out the top five by maintaining its No. 5 ranking from last week.
