Lloyd Joins Jazze Pha At Sho'Nuff

Formerly signed to The Inc./Def Jam, R&B singer Lloyd has joined producer Jazze Pha's Sho'Nuff/Atlantic imprint and is working on the follow-up to his 2004 debut, "Southside." The new set is preceded by the single "You."

"Southside," which included lead single "Hey Young Girl" featuring Ashanti, has sold 322,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

"Not only am I now in the company of my peers," says Lloyd, naming labelmates such as T.I., Juvenile, Lupe Fiasco and Gnarls Barkley, "but through ... Sho'Nuff, I'm also presented with the opportunity to create my own legacy with my company, Young Goldie Productions."

The New Orleans-born singer made his recording debut at age 14 as a member of the quartet N-Toon. The group released its first album, "Toon Time," in 2000.
