The mashup combines Michael Jackson's  ghoulish classic with a decidedly less-known song by New York indie rockers the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. As evidenced by press images released from the episode, the cast will perform "Thriller/Heads Will Roll" dressed in zombie regalia and football uniforms. The episode's plot resolves around the glee club members making peace with the jocks, with added drama courtesy of Sue Sylvester and her Cheerios.

As for the rest of the music from the "Glee" Super Bowl episode -- which also marks the return of the show's second season -- fans can look forward to new versions of Katy Perry's "California Gurls" (with the cast wearing bright blue, Perry-inspired wigs), Lady Antebellum's "Need You Now," "Bills, Bills, Bills" by Destiny's Child (sung by the boys), and the Zombies' "She's Not There."

Gleeks can also look forward to a pre-Super Bowl treat from Lea Michele, who will perform "America the Beautiful" before kickoff between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Green Bay Packers. Christina Aguilera will sing the national anthem
