During last night's Milwaukee audition episode of  "American Idol," Chris Medina bowled over the judges with not just his voice, but also his truly touching tale -- his fiancee, Juliana Ramos, was involved in a serious car accident in December 2009, just two months before they were set to walk down the aisle.

The accident left Juliana with serious brain damage, nearly paralyzed and wheelchair-bound, and Medina -- now one of her caretakers -- broke down on "Idol" as he shared their story. But the 26-year-old singer and guitarist has been channeling his pain into music long before that. Posted on YouTube is as song he dedicated to Juliana and presented on what would have been their wedding day. "I'm a hollow man/Heart and soul/Crushed like your car and thrown to the pavement/What has become of me?"

Here's a clip of Medina performing the song "Chicago" that was posted on YouTube several months before Juliana's accident and shows her in full health.
