Dupri produced the So So Def/Columbia debut album from Lil Bow Wow, who is the featured rapper on "Hardball." A video for the cut was shot earlier this month in Los Angeles. The second single will be Fundisha's "Insomnia."
"Hardball," based on the work of journalist Daniel Coyle, finds Reeves playing a debt-stricken gambler forced to coach a little league team in Chicago's infamous Cabrini Green housing projects, an area that has since been renovated. The Paramount film is due in U.S. theaters Sept. 14.
A pair of older cuts, Notorious B.I.G.'s "Big Poppa" and "The Storm is Over" from Chicago crooner R. Kelly, are also featured on the album.
