The initial autopsy report for Leslie Carter was inconclusive, The Chautauqua County Coroner's Office announced today. Leslie, sister to Nick and Aaron Carter, died on Tuesday in upstate New York. She was 25.

"There were no visible signs of trauma," coroner Richard Mackowiak told E! Online. "We are awaiting a toxicology report to determine a cause of death." He added that results of the toxicology test would be made public at the discretion of the family.

"Our family is grieving right now and it's a private matter," the Carter family said in a statement yesterday. "We are deeply saddened by the loss of our beloved sister, daughter, and granddaughter, Leslie Carter. We request the utmost privacy during this difficult time."

Aaron's older sister and Nick's younger sister, Leslie was signed to Dreamworks Records the late '90s. She had a song featured on the "Shrek" soundtrack (titled "Like Wow!"), but her debut album was never released by the label.

She was featured alongside her family in the 2006 E! reality show "House of Carters."

Leslie Carter is survived by her husband Mike and their daughter, Alyssa Jane, born April 2011.
