Katy Perry lands her first No. 1 on Billboard's European Albums, debuting at the top with "Teenage Dream" (Capitol/EMI). The new leader on European Hot 100 Singles is "We Speak No Americano" (Sweat It Out/All Around The World/UMTV/Universal) by Yolanda Be Cool & Dcup.

Perry's first album "One of the Boys" peaked at No. 10 in its second week on the pan-European chart in 2008, but its successor makes a much bolder start that includes No. 1 debuts in the United Kingdom and Ireland, No. 4 in Spain and Switzerland, No. 5 in Germany and No. 11 in Switzerland, with a 14-3 jump in France. First-week U.K. sales of 54,000 compare to 18,000 for "Boys." The title track from "Teenage Dream" opens at No. 10 on Hot 100 Singles, including a No. 2 U.K. start on 86,000 sales.

Iron Maiden's "The Final Frontier" (EMI) thus falls to No. 2 after two weeks at the European summit. It holds at No. 1 in Italy but falls 1-2 in Spain and Sweden, 2-9 in Germany, 2-5 in Switzerland, 3-4 in Poland, 3-6 in Portugal and 3-18 in the United Kingdom.

In its 11th week, Eminem's "Recovery" (Interscope/Universal) is nudged out of the top two places on European Albums for the first time. It's down 1-2 in the United Kingdom and Ireland, and 1-3 in Switzerland. Arcade Fire's "The Suburbs" (Merge/Mercury/Universal) slips 3-4 overall, despite a 15-10 climb in Spain, Lady Gaga's "The Fame" (Interscope/Universal) dips 4-5 (although it's up 13-3 in Portugal) and David Guetta's "One Love" (Virgin/EMI) is down 5-6, in spite of rising 2-1 in Spain, 9-8 in Portugal and 15-9 in Italy.

American rock band Disturbed debuts at No. 7 Europe-wide with "Asylum" (Warner Bros.), on the strength of a No. 4 debut in Germany and No. 7 in the United Kingdom with sales of 11,000. U.K. acoustic-driven outfit Mumford & Sons' "Sigh No More" (Universal Island) is up 10-8 Europe-wide, with a 7-4 U.K. climb, a new peak as sales to last weekend climb to 632,000.

The pan-European album top ten concludes with two new entries. Berlin-based band Wir Sind Helden repeats the feat of its 2007 release "Soundso" with a No. 9 debut for "Bring Mich Nach Hause" (Sony Music), after arriving at No. 1 in Germany; Manchester, England duo Hurts, starts at No. 10 with "Happiness," also on Sony. The debut set makes No. 2 debuts in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, while its single "Wonderful Life" dips 2-3 in Germany and holds at No. 9 in Switzerland. It charted at No. 21 in the United Kingdom last week but now falls to No. 33.

"We Speak No Americano" is in its 13th week on Hot 100 Singles, and had four weeks at No. 2 before slipping to No. 3 last week. It claims top place as it retains the No. 1 spot in Germany, and is in the top five in many other major European markets. Eminem's "Love The Way You Lie," featuring Rihanna, holds at No. 2 on Hot 100 Singles as "Waka Waka (This Time For Africa)" (Epic/Sony Music Entertainment) by Shakira featuring Freshlyground, No. 1 for the last six weeks, falls to No.3.
