Justin Bieber has spoken out about being called "a brat" by Marg Helgenberger of 'CSI,' the crime drama that featured the pop star in the role of a violent teen for two episodes.

"I shouldn't be saying this, but um, he was kind of a brat," Helgenberger told France's "Le Grand Direct des Medias" radio show. "He locked one of the producers in a closet...and he put his fist through a cake that was on the craft service table." Despite her negative comments, Helgenberger admitted that she herself had no trouble with the teen idol. "He was very nice to me."

Bieber seemed to brush of Helgenberg's comments on Twitter Monday, writing, "It's kinda lame when someone you met briefly and never worked with comments on you. I will continue to wish them luck and be kind.

"Rumors are just that...rumors," Bieber added. "In the end if you just be kind and be yourself people will know who you are. That goes for anyone I think."

Bieber last appeared on "CSI" in February, when his character, named Jason McCann, was gunned down by police in a standoff. The singer's acting debut came on the show's season premiere last September, during which his onscreen brother was killed.

In addressing the "CSI" drama, Bieber also spoke out about a recent report that he was "behaving like a child" during a flight to Melbourne, Australia last week and "scolded" by a flight attendant. "Even last week they had me scolded on a plane in the news because i wasnt in my seat fast enough," he wrote. "She was right and i sat down. That's news?

"Dont spread gossip and dont spread rumors about others," Bieber concluded. "I'm a kid and I know that."
