Judge Revokes C-Murder's Bond

A judge has revoked the $2 million bond for rapper C-Murder (real name: Corey Miller) after prosecutors said he used a cell phone smuggled into the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center in Gretna, La., to call friends to have them either "harm or influence witnesses" in his murder trial.

The younger brother of No Limit Records founder Master P is charged with the January shooting of 16-year-old Steve Thomas. Authorities said there were many witnesses to the crime, but they've been reluctant to come forward because of C-Murder's reputation as a gangsta rapper.

In March, C-Murder pleaded not guilty to charges of second-degree murder in connection with the shooting, which took place in a nightclub in Harvey, La. At the time of the incident, he was out on bail on an unrelated attempted-murder charge.

A sheriff's office spokesperson said two deputies at the facility have been fired because they were linked to the cell phone that was smuggled in.
