So, was Josh Groban and Flea's national anthem performance at Thursday night's BCS championship game the "weirdest national anthem ever"?

 

 

 

That was the general conensus on Twitter Thursday night and this morning, where college football fans are still scratching their heads over the popera singer's unlikely collaboration with the Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist. Though some are praising the pair for a unique take on "The Star-Spangled Banner," others say it was the most bizarre combination of talents to ever grace their TVs -- and not in a good way.
