The MOBO awards made it clear they know who Jessie J is. The pop newcomer won Best Album for her debut album, "Who You Are," as well as Best Song ("Do It Like a Dude"), Best Newcomer and Best UK Act.

"Wow. I did not expect to win that at all," she said while accepting the Best Album award in Glasgow on Wednesday night. "I just want to say the biggest thank you to my fans because I watched this last year by myself in my living room and no one knew who I was and now I just won best album. That is epic."

In all, the singer lost in only one category, Best Video, which went to Tinchy Styder and Dappy's "Spaceship."

Jessie J has enjoyed a banner year at home and abroad since the release of "Who You Are," serving as the MTV Video Music Awards' house performer, playing "Saturday Night Live" and watching the album peak at No. 11 on the Billboard 200. According to the Guardian, the album has sold 600,000 copies in the UK.

Other MOBO winners included Adele, who took home Best R&B/Soul Act, and Rihanna, who won Best International Act. The awards were voted on by the public.

The ceremony, the event's 16th, also included a tribute to late singer Amy Winehouse that featured her goddaughter, Dionne Bromfield. Bromfield sang "Love is a Losing Game."
