Jay-Z is having a busy day.

The Brooklyn-born rapper today (Sept. 8) released his eleventh studio album, "The Blueprint 3," announced a fall tour of college basketball arenas and continued promoting his charity concert at New York's Madison Square Garden on the 11. Now he's also revealed that he will appear on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" in coming weeks and play a small club gig tomorrow night.

During an interview with radio jocks Cipha Sounds and Peter Rosenberg of New York's Hot 97 (WQHT) station, Jay-Z publicized an interview that took place between him and Winfrey in Brooklyn last month -- which will also appear in the October 2009 issue of "O" magazine -- will air on the Aug. 24.

MySpace announced today that Jay-Z will be performing an intimate, free show for his hometown fans just two days before his highly-anticipated Madison Square Garden charity concert. Presented by DJ Hero, the show will take place at New York's Blender Theater on the 9th. For more information on how to get tickets, email hiphoptix@myspacemusic.com.
