Jason Derulo's "In My Head" (Warner Bros.) became the American singer's first U.K. No. 1 single, as Lady Gaga's "The Fame" (Interscope/Universal) started a new stint atop the album chart, and the top ten welcomed new hit albums by Marina and the Diamonds, the Courteeners and Johnny Cash.

"In My Head," which holds at No. 9 on this week's Billboard Hot 100, follows up Derulo's U.S. No. 1 "Whatcha Say," which reached No. 3 in the U.K. and was top ten in several other European countries.

The new single held Florence & the Machine and Dizzee Rascal's "mash-up" "You Got The Dirtee Love" (Dirtee Stank/Universal Island) at No. 2, where it debuted last week after the two artists performed it together at the BRIT Awards Feb. 16. Rihanna's "Rude Boy" (Def Jam/Universal) climbed 6-3.

Also new on the Official Charts Company's Feb. 28 singles chart was BRIT Award Critics' Choice winner Ellie Goulding's "Starry Eyed" (Polydor/Universal) at No. 4, and Sugababes' 18th top ten hit "Wear My Kiss" (Universal Island) at No. 8.

JLS climbed 14-10 with "One Shot" (Epic/Sony Music Entertainment) while Philadelphia hip-hop act Chiddy Bang's "The Opposite of Adults" (Regal/EMI) debuted at No. 12. Cheryl Cole's "Parachute" (Fascination/Polydor/Universal) climbed 19-11, Marina and the Diamonds' debut hit "Hollywood" climbed back 22-13 and Leona Lewis' latest hit "I Got You" (Syco Music/Sony Music Entertainment) improved 40-14.

"The Fame" had four weeks at No. 1 on the U.K. album chart last April and May, and returned to the summit, 2-1, in its 59th week, having been back in the top ten for the previous 11 weeks. Marina and the Diamonds, otherwise known as Welsh-born singer Marina Diamandis, followed her singles chart success by debuting at No. 5 with her first album "The Family Jewels" (679/Warner Music).

Manchester rock quartet the Courteeners followed the No. 4 peak of their 2008 debut "St. Jude" with a No. 6 entry for their sophomore album "Falcon" (A&M/Universal).

JLS's self-titled debut continued to climb, 17-8, while Johnny Cash's posthumous "American VI: Ain't No Grave" (American/Sony Music Entertainment) entered at No. 9, mirroring the debut of its 2006 predecessor. Folk/Americana-influenced London band Mumford & Sons returned 18-10 with their debut album "Sigh No More" (Universal Island), Rihanna's "Rated R" improved ten places to No. 16 and veteran hitmakers the Hollies, who will be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame March 15, entered at No. 23 with the new double CD "Midas Touch - The Very Best of the Holles" (EMI).

Sade's "Soldier of Love" (Epic/Sony Music Entertainment) is in a second week atop Billboard's European Albums chart, while Ke$ha leads European Hot 100 Singles for a fourth week with "Tik Tok" (RCA/Sony Music Entertainment).
