Jagermeister Tour To Kick Off In March

A full itinerary has been announced for the second Jagermeister tour, which, as previously reported, will feature co-headliners Saliva and hed(pe), as well as Breaking Benjamin, Systematic, and Stereomud. The hard rock tour will launch March 6 in Philadelphia, and continue for 30 dates before wrapping April 20 in Detroit.

Saliva is touring in support of its latest Island release, "Back Into Your System," which is at No. 63 on The Billboard 200. The band's recent single, "Always," is No. 2 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Tracks tally. Saliva is currently on its own headlining tour, which will keep the band on the road through the end of February.

Both hed(pe) and Systematic will release albums during the tour. The former's "Blackout" is due March 18 via Jive, and the title track is slated to impact radio in early February. Elektra's Systematic will release "Pleasure to Burn" on April 15.

Stereomud's "Breathing" breached the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart last week at No. 39, and the band's forthcoming Columbia set, "Every Given Moment," is due this spring. Breaking Benjamin is out in support of its debut Hollywood Records set, "Saturate," which last year hit No. 136 on The Billboard 200.

The tour will once again be promoted by Clear Channel Entertainment and sponsored by the German-liquor importer. Each concert-goer will receive an 18-track compilation CD, with tracks from Slayer, hed(pe), Drowning Pool, Otep, and Systematic, among others. Additionally, each date will feature a local act. Tickets will sell for around $20.

Last year, the inaugural Jagermeister tour featured Drowning Pool, Coal Chamber, and Ill Nino. Jagermeister, which invests $1 million in the tour, is planning to sponsor a fall outing headlined by Slayer.
