Iron Maiden's "The Final Frontier" (EMI) starts a second week atop Billboard's European Albums chart, as the No. 1 berth on European Hot 100 Singles is occupied for a sixth straight week by "Waka Waka (This Time For Africa)" (Epic/Sony Music Entertainment) by Shakira featuring Freshlyground.

The Maiden album thus outdoes its studio predecessor "A Matter of Life and Death," which had one week at the pan-European summit in 2006. "Frontier" now debuts at No. 1 in Italy and retains its crown in France, Spain, Sweden, Norway and the Czech Republic, but drops from the top spot in the United Kingdom, Denmark, Switzerland, Austria, Portugal and Germany.

In an unchanged top three Europe-wide, Eminem is at No. 2 again with "Recovery" (Interscope/Universal) and Arcade Fire's "The Suburbs" (Merge/Mercury/Universal) at No. 3. The Eminem album is back up 2-1 in the United Kingdom, a seventh week of supremacy from ten weeks on release. Total U.K. sales to last weekend are 509,000, while the single "Love The Way You Lie," featuring Rihanna, is up to a new peak 3-2 on Hot 100 Singles, holding at No. 1 in Sweden, Denmark and Norway. "Recovery" is also No. 1 in Ireland and Switzerland, while Arcade Fire's highest ranking is at No. 2 in Ireland.

Trading places on the pan-European album list are Lady Gaga's "The Fame" (Interscope/Universal) at No. 4 and David Guetta's "One Love" (Virgin/EMI) at No. 5. Gaga, in week 85, is up 5-4 in Spain and 9-6 in the United Kingdom; Guetta, this week celebrating a year on the survey, holds at No. 2 in Spain.

The next four positions on European Albums are unchanged, with Plan B's "The Defamation of Strickland Banks" (679/Atlantic/Warner Music) at No. 6, Unheilig's "Grosse Freiheit" (Universal) at No. 7, A-ha's "25" (Warner Bros./Warner Music) at No. 8 and Muse's "The Resistance" (Helium 3/Warner Music) at No. 9. Plan B is up 4-2 in the United Kingdom, Unheilig returns 2-1 in Germany where A-ha stays at No. 3, and Muse stays at No. 4 in France and Portugal.

Up 13-10 is British nu-folk outfit Mumford & Sons' "Sigh No More" (Universal Island), to a new peak on the composite chart. It's up 12-7 in the United Kingdom, where it's certified double platinum for shipments of 600,000 and nominated for the Barclaycard Mercury Music Prize, the winner of which will be announced in London next Tuesday (Sept. 7). The album is now breaking in other European markets, climbing 10-3 in Holland, 8-3 in the Belgian region of Flanders and 5-3 in Ireland.

Shakira's single spends another week at No. 1 in France, Italy and Spain but falls from the top in Flanders and neighboring Wallony. It's up 6-5 in Austria and holds at No. 2 in Norway and Sweden and No. 3 in Denmark.
