INXS had attempted to mount a co-headlining North American tour last summer with fellow Australian acts Men At Work and Midnight Oil, but when the latter band dropped off for unspecified reasons, the trek collapsed.
The group has not released a studio album since 1997's "Elegantly Wasted" (Mercury), although its legacy was celebrated last summer with Rhino's two-CD set "Shine Like It Does (1979-1997): The INXS Anthology." In recent weeks, Par-T-One's "I'm So Crazy," which incorporates elements of INXS' "Just Keep Walking," has made the rounds in international clubs, thanks to championing by influential DJs such as Paul Oakenfold and Darren Emerson.
