"In the Mid-Nite Hour" also features guest appearances by Warren G's longtime colleagues Snoop Dogg ("PYT," "Yessir") and Nate Dogg ("I Need a Light," "Midnite Hour"), as well as Raphael Saadiq, Bishop Lamont, Side Effect, Chevy and Chuck Taylor. The track "Make It Do What It Do" features a sample of Jamie Foxx portraying Ray Charles in "Ray."
The album is the follow-up to 2001's "Return of the Regulator," the artist's lone set for Uptown/Universal. That album debuted at No. 14 on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and has sold 230,800 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
Warren G, Snoop and Nate Dogg re-assembled last year as 213 and released an album, "The Hard Way," via TVT.
