As previously reported, Katy Perry jumps the top of the Billboard Hot 100 for the second time in her career with "California Gurls," the lead single from her album "Teenage Dream," due August 24. Perry previously led the list for seven weeks with "I Kissed a Girl" in the summer of 2008. Snoop Dogg, her vocal collaborator on "Gurls," reaches the pinnacle for a third time out of 31 chart entries that he's placed on the list since 1993.

Usher gets dislodged from the summit for a second time as "OMG," featuring will.i.am, dips 1-2. The title was also knocked out of the top spot, where it's resided for four non-consecutive weeks, on the ranking dated May 22 by Eminem's "Not Afraid." And as was the case during that week, "OMG" takes the Airplay Gainer trophy as it abdicates the chart throne. The title is up 18.2 million listener impressions (to 157.7 million), according to Nielsen BDS, and scores the chart's heftiest airplay increase for the sixth time in the last eight weeks.
 
will.i.am's group the Black Eyed Peas place their fifth top 10 single from "The E.N.D." into the Hot 100 top 10 as "Rock That Body" rises 16-9. "Boom Boom Pow", the inaugural single from the multi-platinum set, first hit the top 10 in April 2009. In the 62 weeks since "Boom" hit the upper tier, the act has been absent from the top 10 for just 15 frames.
 
"Airplanes" by B.o.B featuring Hayley Williams holds at No. 3, while Ke$ha's "Your Love Is My Drug" digs in at No. 4 for a second frame.
 
Travie McCoy moves into the top 10 for the first time as a soloist as "Billionaire" cashes in an 11-5 move. This track surges 8-4 on Digital Songs with 177,000 downloads, according to Nielsen SoundScan (up 59%). McCoy's band Gym Class Heroes peaked at No. 4 with "Cupid's Chokehold/Breakfast in America" in March 2007. "Billionaire's" featured vocalist Bruno Mars joins B.o.B with two tracks apiece in the top 10 as the two artists combine on "Nothin' On You" (7-8).
 
As Taio Cruz's "Rokstarr" arrives on the Billboard 200 at No. 8 (24,000 units), "Break Your Heart" dips a spot to No. 6 on the Hot 100 while two tracks from his debut set enter the list, led by "Dynamite" at No. 26. The follow-up radio single to former No. 1 "Heart," moves 83,000 downloads (No. 13 on Digital Songs). Also coming on the Hot 100 is "Dirty Picture," featuring Ke$ha, at No. 96.
 
Lady Gaga's "Alejandro" takes a step back to No. 7 while La Roux's "Bulletproof" rounds out the top 10 (8-10).
 
Drake takes the Hot Shot Debut with "Miss Me," featuring Lil Wayne, at No. 15, fueled by a No. 8 opening on Digital Songs (128,000). The song is yet another preview track from his highly anticipated "Thank Me Later" album.
 
T.I. tacks on two debuts to his chart discography as "Got Your Back," featuring Keri Hilson opens at No. 38 and "Yeah Ya Know (Takers)" starts at No. 44. Female rapper Nicki Minaj opens at No. 51 with "Your Love." It's her first turn as a lead act, after previously appearing as a featured artist on tracks by Mariah Carey, Ludacris, Usher and Christina Aguilera.
 
The "Glee Cast" bring on five chart entries from this season's penultimate episode, led by the act's take on Marky Mark & The Funky Bunch's "Good Vibrations" at No. 69.
 
Other notable debuts include the first-ever chart entries for U.K. singer-songwriter VV Brown at No. 97 with "Shark in the Water" and rock quartet Neon Trees with "Animal" at No. 100.
