Last night (Jan. 22), dozens of stars from the world of music, film, sports and even politics joined together for the "Hope for Haiti" telethon, a two-hour event -- organized by actor George Clooney -- to help the relief effort in Haiti, where more than 200,000 people lost their lives after a devastating earthquake on Jan. 12.

Amidst the desperate pleas for the desperate nation, the event featured poignant performances from some of music's top names. Watch highlights from the event here, then click over to the Hope for Haiti Now website to find out how you can help the nation in need.
