Hip-Hop's Biggest Acts Set For Source Awards

Ja Rule, Fabolous. Nelly and Murphy Lee are among the acts confirmed to perform during the 2003 Source Hip-Hop Music Awards. Set for Oct. 13 at Florida's Miami Arena, the ceremony will also feature entertainment by Lil Jon & the East Side Boyz, Youngbloodz, Cam'Ron & the Diplomats, Wyclef and Trina.

The show, which will mark the 15th anniversary of The Source magazine, will be taped to air Nov. 11 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on BET.

Artists confirmed to take part in the affair are Ashanti, Baby, Bonecrusher, Clipse, David Banner, Elephant Man, Erykah Badu, Fat Joe, Ice Cube, Lil' Kim, LL Cool J, Megan Good, P. Diddy, the Neptunes and Scarface. Also slated to appear are Rev. Al Sharpton, boxers Roy Jones Jr. and Mike Tyson, professional football player Ricky Williams and Tupac Shakur's mother, Afeni Shakur.

As previously reported, Lil' Kim and Jay-Z lead the field with five nominations each. Nelly, 50 Cent and Cam'Ron & the Diplomats follow with four apiece.
