High Times Rolls Out Hip-Hop Tour

High Times Records, the label started by counterculture magazine High Times, has slated a brief North American tour for a group of artists that appear on its first release, "THC (The Hip-Hop Collection) Vol. 1." Kicking off April 30 in New York, the trek will feature Afu-Ra, Buckshot of Black Moon, Smif N Wessun, and Non Phixon, as well as other as-yet-undetermined artists from the compilation album.

As previously reported, the 14-track "THC" album also features tracks by RZA of Wu-Tang Clan, the Pharcyde, and the Beatnuts. The set also includes the track "Mary" by the Serial Rhyme Killers, which features B-Real of Cypress Hill with Son Doobie and Mellow Man Ace, the latter of whom is also Cypress Hill member Sen Dog's brother.

Originally due April 16 via the Caroline-distributed High Times label, which plans to "cater to music and marijuana lovers alike," the compilation is now due April 30, according to the High Times Web site.
