Hard Rock Acts 'Rumble' On Soundtrack

Comments

The Atlantic soundtrack to the forthcoming wrestling flick "Ready To Rumble" will offer a host of suitably hard-hitting tunes. Featured are Bif Naked's rendition of Twisted Sister's "We're Not Gonna Take It," DJ Hurricane's take on Queen's "We Will Rock You" (sporting a vocal assist from Stone Temple Pilots frontman Scott Weiland), and a sure-to-be-strange cover of Britney Spears' "...Baby One More Time" by Ahmet and Dweezil Zappa.

"Ready To Rumble," starring David Arquette and Scott Caan as wrestling fans-turned-managers, hits theaters on April 7. Several professional wrestlers also appear in the film, including Bill Goldberg, Diamond Dallas Page, and Sting.

The soundtrack, which also includes remixed tracks by Kid Rock and P.O.D. alongside vintage album cuts from Motley Crue, House Of Pain, and Run-D.M.C., is due April 11.
