Among the selections on the first disc are Grant Lee Buffalo's two Modern Rock Tracks chart entries, "Truly, Truly" (No. 11) and "Mockingbirds" (No. 14). The rarities disc sports acoustic versions of "The Shining Hour," "Wish You Well" and "Soft Wolf Tread," plus the out-of-print B-sides "Goodnight John Dee" and "Orpheus."
Grant Lee Buffalo split in 1999. Frontman Grant Lee Phillips has since embarked on a solo career and, as previously reported, will release his next album, "Virginia Creeper," Feb. 24 via Zoe/Rounder. He begins a tour March 2 in Cambridge, Mass.
