Frankee Remains No. 1 In U.K.

Frankee continues to have Eamon under her thumb on the U.K. singles chart, where "F.U.R.B. (F.U. Right Back)" (All Around The World), her retort to his "F**k It (I Don't Want You Back)" (Jive) spends a second week at No. 1. Eamon's former chart-topper again remains at No. 2.

The highest new entry on the singles chart is "Hotel" (Jive) by New York-based rapper Cassidy featuring R. Kelly at No. 3, followed by new U.K. female R&B quartet the 411 at No. 4 with "On My Knees" (Sony), which features Ghostface Killah of Wu Tang Clan.

Completing a trio of top 10 debuts is the Corrs, whose "Summer Sunshine" (Atlantic/VP), the first single from their new album, "Borrowed Heaven," arrives at No. 6. It's the sibling group's sixth British top 10 single and first since 2000's No. 1 hit "Breathless."

Perhaps the most newsworthy of the other new entries is Nick Drake's "Magic" (Universal Island) at No. 32. As previously reported, the track is the late English singer/songwriter's first-ever single release and earns Drake his first-ever appearance on either the U.K. single or album charts.

On the album chart, Keane's debut set "Hopes and Fears" (Universal Island) spends a second week at No. 1, restricting Morrissey's "You Are the Quarry" (Attack/Sanctuary) to a No. 2 start. With the Streets' "A Grand Don't Come for Free" (679/Locked On) down 2-3 and Mario Winans' "Hurt No More" (Bad Boy) up 6-4, Irish rockers Ash arrive at No. 5 with "Meltdown" (Infectious).

Alanis Morissette's "So-Called Chaos" (Maverick/WB) and the Charlatans' "Up at the Lake" (Universal Island) debuted more modestly than usual for those artists. Morissette's new set arrives at No. 8, the lowest-charting of her four studio albums, while the Charlatans' album lands at No. 13.

Of the latter's seven previous studio albums, only the second, 1992's "Between 10th & 11th," peaked lower, reaching No. 21. Three other albums in the catalog (1990's "Some Friendly," 1995's "The Charlatans" and 1997's "Tellin' Stories") went to No. 1 in the U.K.

Farther down, former Blur member Graham Coxon's latest solo album, "Happiness in Magazines" (Transcopic/EMI), debuts at No. 19, while a new compilation featuring Diana Ross both with and without the Supremes, "The No. 1's" (Motown), enters at No. 26.

For the seventh week, "Anastacia" (Epic) is No. 1 on the European Top 100 Albums chart, but there's a new favorite on the Eurochart Hot 100 Singles survey, where the Eamon track moves up 2-1.
