Folk Artists Gather For Seeger Tribute

Bruce Springsteen; Judy Collins; Jackson Browne, Peter, Paul and Mary; Ani DiFranco; and Indigo Girls are among the artists contributing material to "Where Have All The Flowers Gone: The Songs Of Pete Seeger." The two-CD tribute to the American folk artist will be the first release on new indie label Appleseed Recordings; it is due in stores March 17 . . . Folk-rocker Patty Griffin will be taking a full band on the road for a series of acoustic dates. The singer/songwriter, who will be previewing material from her second, as-yet-untitled A&M album, will start the tour Wednesday in Carrboro, N.C.
