The talent lineup for Fruit of the Loom Country Fest, set for June 20 at an undetermined venue in Nashville, includes Reba McEntire, Clint Black, Wynonna, Michael Peterson, Neal McCoy, Chris LeDoux, and a surprise special guest. For the first time Country Fest, held the past two years at speedways in Atlanta (1996) and Fort Worth (1997), will be a paid ticket event, produced by Warner/Avalon and Fruit of the Loom. Warner/Avalon's Marc Oswald is executive producer, and Tall Pony will produce the CBS television special. Streets will be blocked off outside the venue, and a Sony Jumbotron will simulcast the show.
In related news, Wynonna and Michael Bolton will kick off a joint outing May 16 in Biloxi, Miss. "The Voices Tour" will crisscross the U.S. for two months, wrapping July 26 in Washington, D.C. Wynonna recently guested on a special edition of the A&E program "Live By Request," that featured Bolton performing songs as requested by his fans.
