Fergie Scores Second 'Glamorous' Week At No. 1

Comments

Fergie's "Glamorous" rules the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 1 for a second week straight. The track fends off Mims' previous chart-topper "This Is Why I'm Hot," which remains at No. 2 for a second week. Akon's "Don't Matter" also stays put for a second week at No. 3. Gym Class Heroes' "Cupid's Chokehold" featuring Fall Out Boy's Patrick Stump achieves a new peak position, sliding up 5-4, while Gwen Stefani's "The Sweet Escape" featuring Akon flip-flops with that track, falling 4-5.

In its 15th week on the chart, Rich Boy's "Throw Some D's" featuring Polow Da Don flies up 21 slots, 27-6, spurred by the release of the artist's debut album last week. "American Idol" winner Daughtry's "It's Not Over" keeps the No. 7 spot warm for a second week. Avril Lavigne's "Girlfriend" climbs 9-8 while Justin Timberlake's "What Goes Around ... Comes Around" slips 8-9. Fall Out Boy's "This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race" rounds out the top tier, descending 6-10.

This week's biggest debut is Hilary Duff's "With Love," which bows at No. 42. The track is the lead single from her forthcoming Hollywood album, "Dignity," due April 3. The track shifted 32,500 digital downloads.

Nine Inch Nails' "Survivalism" also has a big start on the tally, entering at No. 68. It is also threatening to become the act's fourth No. 1 single on the Modern Rock chart, where it ascends 5-4. British soul singer Amy Winehouse scores a pair of debuts side-by-side on the chart this week, with "You Know I'm No Good" featuring Ghostface Killah and "Rehab" at Nos. 90 and 91, respectively.

Other debuts this week include Lloyd's "Get It Shawty" at No. 76, Beyonce & Shakira's "Beautiful Liar" at No. 94 and "Like This" by Kelly Rowland at No. 96.

On the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, Robin Thicke's "Lost Without U" reigns for a sixth week. Leaping from No. 4, Juan Luis Guerra Y 440's "La Llave de Mi Corazon" overtakes Conjunto Primavera's "Ese" at No. 1 on the Hot Latin Songs chart, with the latter track falling to No. 5. Kenny Chesney's "Beer in Mexico" sits at No. 1 on Hot Country Songs for a second week.

After a four-week reign on the Modern Rock chart, Three Days Grace's "Pain" descends to No. 2 as 30 Seconds To Mars' "From Yesterday" moves into the penthouse from No. 3. Breaking Benjamin's "Breath" sticks to No. 1 on Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks for a second week.
