After promising fans there would be a sequel to his 2009 comeback album, "Relapse," Eminem now says there will be no "Relapse 2."
"There is no Relapse 2," the Detroit rapper tweeted this morning (April 14). It was the rapper's first tweet since March 29th, in which he promised "some big news is coming. Soon," reigniting rumors of a "Relapse 2" release.
In an interview with AOL's the BoomBox last month, producer Just Blaze indicated that "Relapse 2" was near completion, saying, "I'm out in Detroit and we're wrapping that ['Relapse 2'] up now." Other leaked tidbits about the album came last year courtesy of Em's friend and producer The Alchemist, who told AllHipHop.com that the album sounds like "the most psychotic s---s I've ever heard," and DJ Whoo Kid, a member of Eminem's D-12 crew, who told MTV that "the crazy, lyrical, maniacal Eminem is back. Maniac!"
