Eminem, Fabolous, Jeezy To Celebrate Def Jam At VH1 Hip Hop Honors

Eminem was never a part of Def Jam Records, but the rapper is going to join the likes of Young Jeezy, Rick Ross, Fabolous, Ludacris, Method Man and many others to celebrate the pioneering hip hop label during this year's 6th annual VH1 Hip Hop Honors.

The show will commemorate the 25th anniversary of Def Jam Records. In addition to those mentioned above, DMX, Mary J. Blige, Redman, The Roots, ONYX, Public Enemy, Warren G, Kid Rock, Chris Rock, Jimmy Fallon, Brett Ratner, Trey Songz, Ja Rule, Gym Class Heroes and Scarface are slated to perform and participate in the festivities.

Hosted by "30 Rock's" Tracy Morgan for the third straight year, "VH1" Hip Hop Honors 2009" will be taped at the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) Howard Gilman Opera House in Brooklyn, New York. The broadcast will premiere on VH1 on Tuesday, October 13 at 9PM ET/PT.
