Emerging R&B Stars Hit HBO

A quartet of emerging neo-soul R&B artists -- Craig David, Sunshine Anderson, Lina, and Res -- will be featured on this week's episode of HBO's "Reverb," set to debut tonight (Sept. 5) at 8 p.m. ET/PT. David, the U.K.'s two-stepping favorite son, will perform his current hit, "Fill Me In" -- which is at No. 17 on Billboard's Hot 100 -- from his Atlantic debut, "Born to do It." David's performance was filmed at New York's Irving Plaza, as were Anderson's and Lina's, while Res was captured at the city's Bowery Ballroom.

Immediately following the broadcast, AOL will offer a live chat with Anderson. In addition to the chat, AOL, at keyword "reverb," is featuring David's "Fill Me In" video, and live clips of David's "Follow Me," Anderson's "Crazy Love," and "Step Up," from newcomer Lina. Lina's debut album, "Strangers on Earth," will be released Sept. 18.

Although specific details are not available, look for similar promotions tied into artists featured on upcoming "Reverb" episodes, including hard rockers Linkin Park, Beautiful Creatures, and Systematic (Sept. 12), and the Black Crowes, Old 97s, and Spacehog (Sept. 19).
