Dylan Rolls Out Six-Week Fall Tour

Comments

Bob Dylan will hit the road for a six-week North American tour in support of his forthcoming Columbia album "Love and Theft," due Sept. 11 in North America. The trek, beginning Oct. 5 in Spokane, Wash., and wrapping Nov. 24 in Boston, will hit Dylan's usual grab bag of arenas, theaters, and college campuses.

"Love and Theft," Dylan's first studio album since 1997's Grammy-winning "Time Out of Mind," features the artist's touring band of guitarist Charlie Sexton, bassist Tony Garnier, multi-instrumentalist Larry Campbell, and drummer David Kemper. Album track "Po' Boy" is currently available for free download via the Windows Media format.

A select number of priority tickets will be available through Dylan's official Web site. The password required to obtain seats through that promotion will be posted Thursday (Aug. 29) on the site.
