Drake is set to appear on "The LeBrons," an upcoming animated web series spearheaded by Miami Heat superstar LeBron James (with Spring Hill Productions and Believe Entertainment Group). The Toronto rapper will play himself in his guest spot on the series, which is set to debut in March.

"The LeBrons" -- in which James will play four different characters that were originally inspired from a Nike ad campaign -- will be a family-oriented series focusing on teamwork and staying in school, among other topics. Producer Ali Dee has signed on to helm all of the music on the show.

Drake Grammys Q&A: Watch Now

The last time Drake worked on a project with James was "More Than a Game," the 2009 documentary that chronicled the basketball star's high school career. The soundtrack to the film featured "Forever," Drake's song with Kanye West, Lil Wayne and Eminem, as its lead single.
