Drake

On the first stop of his "Away From Home Tour" in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania, last night (April 5), Drake announced his long-awaited "Thank Me Later" debut will now be released on June 15th. The album has had numerous release dates since last year, the latest being May, 2010.

The release date wasn't the only nugget Drake revealed during his performance -- the Toronto-raised MC also performed a new track from "Thank Me Later" titled "Fireworks."

So far, Drake's only released one single from the set, a track titled "Over," which is currently No. 13 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and No. 22 on the Hot 100. A song titled "Shut It Down," featuring The-Dream, leaked on the internet last month.

The "Away From Home Tour," Drake's first North American solo trek, runs from April 6 through May 8 and features performances from Canadian rapper/singer K-OS and synth pop New York band Francis & The Lights.
