One day after claiming that they were married and sending their fans into a frenzy of speculation, Drake and Nicki Minaj ended their prank right where it began -- on Twitter.

"Dear Barbz," Minaj (aka Harajuku Barbie) addressed her fans on Saturday (Aug. 28). "My husband Drake and I have decided to have our marriage annulled. We'll maintain joint custody. Luv, HB."

Drake and Nicki Minaj: Just Married?

The Young Money duo had led fans to believe they'd gotten married just one day earlier when Minaj tweeted, "Yes, its true. Drake and I tied the knot. Drake -- who raps about marrying the female MC on his "Thank Me Later" cut "Miss Me" -- added fuel to the fire by writing, "Please refer to @nickiminaj as Mrs. Aubrey Drake Graham and dont stare at her too long. She's finally mine."

Soon after the tweets, a rep for Minaj told media outlets that the artists' self-started rumor was simply "Not true." That did little to quell the hopes of fans, though, as many began referring to the pair as "Dricki" on the social networking site.

Once Minaj finally broke the so-called anullment news to her followers, one of them asked her just who, exactly, she and Drake had custody of in the first place. To which Minaj couldn't resist replying with another joke: "All our SONS."
