After years of delays, Dr. Dre has finally released an official song from his third album, "Detox." "Kush," the rapper's hard-hitting collaboration with Snoop Dogg and Akon, is now streaming at Dre's web site and will be released on iTunes tomorrow (Nov. 18).

"Hold up, wait a minute/let me put some kush up in it," a roboticized hook that recalls Dre's "California Love" coos before the rapper arrives and drops some "Cheech and Chong shit" in the first verse. Over a gentle piano line and synth stabs, Dre rattles off an intense set of rhymes before Akon sings the chorus and Snoop Dogg delivers the drugged-out declaration, "Kush 'til my mind gone."

"Kush" is the first Dr. Dre-approved taste of the years-in-the-making "Detox," following a series of unofficial leaks from the album earlier this year. "Under Pressure," a collaboration with Jay-Z, hit the web in June, while the R&B-leaning track "Turn Me On" was leaked in August.

"I Need a Doctor," a new track featuring Dr. Dre and Eminem, also leaked online earlier today, although the song has not been confirmed to appear on "Detox."One more CD and then I'm packing up my bags/And as I leave, I guarantee they'll scream, 'Dre, don't leave us like that man!'" Dr. Dre raps on the track, which sonically recalls Eminem's Hot 100-topping "Love the Way You Lie."

The arrival of "Kush" indicates that "Detox" may be released in early 2011 after the album's December release date was once pushed back. Dr. Dre will grace the cover of XXL's December/January issue, along with the sub-headline, "Yes, 'Detox' is Coming."
