Comments

Rock quartet the Distillers will launch a headlining U.S. tour Sept. 5 in San Diego. The Brody Armstrong-led group is fresh off the Lollapalooza tour and has recently wrapped work on its Sire debut, "Coral Fang," with producer Gil Norton (Pixies, Foo Fighters).

"Coral Fang" is the follow-up to the Distillers' final Epitaph album, "Sing Sing Death House," which last fall peaked at No. 29 on Billboard's Top Independent Albums chart and No. 30 on the Heatseekers tally.

As previously reported, the Distillers will join Queens Of The Stone Age and Mondo Generator for an Australian tour in January.
