The centerpiece of the collection is a version of "The Lion King" song "Circle of Life" by the Disney Channel's Circle of Stars. The one-off collaboration features such network stars as Duff ("Lizzie McGuire"), Raven ("That's So Raven"), Christy Carlson Romano ("Kim Possible," "Even Stevens"), Anneliese van der Pol ("That's So Raven"), Orlando Brown ("The Proud Family"), Tahj Mowry ("Kim Possible," "Smart Guy"), Kyla Pratt ("The Proud Family") and A.J. Trauth ("Even Stevens"). Elton John's original recording reached No. 2 on Billboard's Adult Contemporary chart in 1994.
Duff also teams up with her sister, Haylie Duff, on a version of the "Siamese Cat Song" from "Lady and the Tramp." The same 1955 animated feature is mined for the Beu Sisters' new version of "He's a Tramp."
TMBG contributes a version of "Baroque Hoedown," a song heard in the Main Street Electrical Parade in the Walt Disney theme parks. Bedingfield, who is currently recovering in New Zealand from injuries suffered in a recent car accident, covers "A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes" from the 1950 animated feature "Cinderella."
Hilary Duff, No Secrets, Jump 5 and the Baha Men all appeared on the inaugural "Disneymania" collection, released in September 2002. That set, which also featured the likes of Anastacia, Usher, 'N Sync, Christina Aguilera and Aaron Carter, topped Billboard's Kid Audio chart and reached No. 52 on The Billboard 200. The set has sold 625,000 copies in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan.
