Next week Hollywood Records' Demi Lovato looks to be on track to start near the top of the Billboard 200 chart with her second album "Here We Go Again." Industry prognosticators think the set may shift 100,000-120,000 in its first week. The singer/actress' debut effort, "Don't Forget," bowed at No. 2 less than a year ago with 89,000.

Lovato may face competition from Daughtry's "Leave This Town," which has a chance of holding in at No. 1 for a second week. If the album drops a conservative 60-65% in sales in its second week, it may shift 95,000-110,000. It bowed atop the Billboard 200 with 269,000.

Jordin Sparks' sophomore album "Battlefield" will also likely make a top 10 debut, giving the "American Idol" champ her second top 10 set. Her self-titled debut entered and peaked at No. 10 in 2007.

On the Top Comprehensive Albums chart, where both older albums and new albums mingle together, there's a chance Michael Jackson's "Number Ones" may trump both Lovato and Daughtry, and move back to the No. 1 slot, despite a decline in sales. Last week "Ones" fell to No. 2 on the Comprehensive chart -- behind Daughtry -- with 192,000 (down 45%).

Nielsen SoundScan's sales tracking week, as reflected in Billboard's album charts, runs from Monday through Sunday of each week. Next week's album charts will be revealed on the morning of Wednesday, July 29 and will reflect data through the week ending Sunday, July 26.
