Albums by Daz Dillinger, Tha Dogg Pound, Lady of Rage, and Michel'le, three compilations, and four soundtracks round out the rereleased catalog. The albums were previously distributed by Interscope and Priority.
The catalog rerelease extends a relationship between DNA and Death Row that began last year, when the distributor handled "Dead Man Walkin'," a D-3/Death Row album of Snoop Dogg rarities, and the Death Row compilation "Too Gangsta For Radio."
Imprisoned Death Row owner Marion "Suge" Knight says of the deal, "I like giving back and dealing with guys who want to grow along with me and my ideas and my vision." Knight, who has been in California state prison since October 1996 for violating probation in a 1992 assault case, says he expects to be out of jail by this summer and plans to release projects by new artists on the label..
