Clapton, Winwood Keep The Faith For MSG Shows

After a rare on-stage reunion at the Crossroads Guitar Festival in July, former Blind Faith mates Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood will team for three shows early next year at New York's Madison Square Garden.

The pair will play Feb. 25, 26 and 28; tickets went on sale yesterday (Nov. 12) via Ticketmaster. Blind Faith played MSG July 12, 1969, on what turned out to be its only tour.

According to a statement, plans are not yet set for the show's set list, which will be determined after Clapton and Winwood rehearse.

Meanwhile, Winwood is now signed to Columbia and will release an as-yet-untitled new album early next year. The project will be his first solo release since 2003's "About Time," released on his own Wincraft Music imprint.
