Last week, Chris Brown gave his first radio interview to Hot 97 (WQHT) host Angie Martinez, spending the majority of the air-time stressing his deep regrets for his February incident with ex-girlfriend Rihanna. Now, the Virginia singer has taken to Twitter to announce the long-awaited release date for his upcoming album, "Graffiti." Brown wrote that the set will be available on Dec. 15th.

"Official album date: December 15. Graffiti. Now blog about this. Lol," Brown tweeted in all caps about the Jive Records release. A label rep has confirmed the release date.

As previously reported, Brown will embark on a "Fan Appreciation" tour, a 19-city, small venue trek starting on Nov. 4 in Houston, Texas, and ending on Dec. 13 in Philadelphia. Tomorrow (Oct. 27), Brown will also headline New York radio station Power 105.1's (WWPR) Powerhouse concert at New Jersey's Izod Center. He will be joined by The-Dream, Trey Songz, Keri Hilson, Fabolous and others.

Brown's latest single, "I Can Transform Ya," featuring Lil Wayne and producer Swizz Beatz, is currently No. 16 on the R&B/Hip-Hop songs chart.
