Originally tweeting a Dec. 15 release date, Chris Brown's much-anticipated album, "Graffiti," has been pushed up a week, Jive Records has announced. Now available on Dec. 8, the label did not state a reason for the change as of press time.

Brown's single, "I Can Transform Ya," featuring Lil Wayne and producer Swizz Beatz, has been on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop songs chart for five weeks and is currently at the No. 16 slot.

As previously reported, the 20-year-old singer has been making a slew of public appearances in the past weeks. His "Fan Appreciation" tour starts on November 14 in Houston, Texas and ends two days before the original album release date on December 13, in Philadelphia. The tour will encompass 19 cities nationwide.

Brown also headlined New York's Power 105.1 Powerhouse 2009 concert on Oct. 27 at New Jersey's IZOD Center, marking his first spotlight event since the altercation with ex-girlfriend Rihanna in February.

In mid-October in an interview with host Angie Martinez of New York's Hot 97 radio station, Brown asserted his view of the upcoming album saying it's "not a confessions album, but my life in a nutshell."
