Chamillionaire Retains Top Spot On Hot 100

Chamillionaire's "Ridin'" featuring Krayzie Bone maintains the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for a second week. Daniel Powter's "Bad Day" holds at No. 2 on the chart but reclaims the top spot on the Pop 100, where Rihanna's "SOS" falls to No. 5. The Powter track also remains atop the Adult Contemporary chart for a sixth week, while "SOS" drops 3-5 on the Hot 100.

Nelly Furtado's "Promiscuous" featuring Timbaland is the Hot 100's greatest sales gainer for a second week and rises 9-3. On Hot Digital Songs, the cut powers 7-1, knocking "Bad Day" down to No. 2. Fort Minor's "Where'd You Go" featuring Holly Brook jumps 5-4 on the Hot 100, while Cassie's "Me & U" ascends 13-6 and is the chart's greatest airplay gainer.

Elsewhere on the chart, Sean Paul's "Temperature" falls 4-7, Lil Jon's "Snap Yo Fingers" featuring E-40 & Sean Paul Of The YoungBloodZ drops 7-8 and Shakira's "Hips Don't Lie" featuring Wyclef Jean climbs 16-9. The Fray's "Over My Head (Cable Car)" descends 8-10 to round out the top tier. The Shakira track also leads the Hot Latin Songs chart for a third week.

The Hot 100 welcomes new cuts from two "American Idol" season five contenders. Chris Daughtry's "Wanted Dead Or Alive" is the chart's top debut, at No. 43, while "Idol" winner Taylor Hicks' "Takin' It To The Streets" bows at No. 69.

Also new to the chart are the Wreckers' "Leave The Pieces" (No. 68), Dashboard Confessional's "Don't Wait" (No. 80), Dem Franchize Boyz' "Ridin' Rims" (No. 92), Little Big Town's "Bring It on Home" (No. 95), Sean Paul's "Give It Up to Me" (No. 97) and Busta Rhymes' "I Love My B****" featuring will.i.am & Kelis (No. 98).

Yung Joc's "It's Goin' Down" remains atop the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart for a second week, while Bubba Sparxxx' "Ms. New Booty" featuring Ying Yang Twins and Mr. ColliPark fronts the Hot Ringtones chart for a ninth frame.

Dierks Bentley's "Settle for a Slowdown" holds at No. 1 on the Hot Country Songs chart for a second week. Red Hot Chili Peppers' "Dani California" leads both the Modern Rock and Mainstream Rock tallies for a seventh and fifth week, respectively.
