The set was produced by Third Eye Blind's Stephan Jenkins and features guest spots on as-yet-unnamed tracks by Fleetwood Mac principal Lindsey Buckingham and the Neptunes' Pharrell Williams.
It's the follow-up to 2002's "Be Not Nobody," which debuted at No. 5 on The Billboard 200 and has sold 1.38 million copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Carlton also garnered significant airplay last fall via her contribution to Counting Crows' cover of Joni Mitchell's "Big Yellow Taxi," which reached 12 different Billboard charts.
The artist kicks off a North American tour Oct. 21 in Minneapolis. An appearance on Sessions at AOL will air Friday (Oct. 8) on AOL Music.
